Application Process
WHAT TO EXPECT
If your application and experience matches our criteria you maybe invited to attend an assessment centre. Prior to an assessment successful candidates will be sent via email an access to link to online psychometric tests to be completed prior to attending.
The assessment centre typically lasts a day and consists of 5 components each designed to examine candidates abilities in line with specific competencies and key behaviours attributed to the programme. Prior to attending all candidates are sent a briefing pack that will allow sufficient preparation for the day.
We understand that this process can be nerve racking but at Nissan this is very much a two way process. You will get the opportunity to meet our Senior Management team and quiz our current student on what it is like to work at here.
It is just as much about you assessing us and us assessing you!
ASSESSMENT CENTRE TIPS
Be Prepared
All Candidates will have been expected to undertake the necessary research.
Stay Hydrated
Make sure you drink plenty on the day, there are short breaks scheduled throughout the day, make use of these to stay hydrated and sustained. Eat lunch, you may not feel hungry but you do not want to be distracted later in the day. This will allow you to maintain good concentration levels throughout the day.
Fully Participate
Make sure you fully participate in each exercise
Ask Questions
If you do not understand a question or task please ask a member of the assessment team
Don't Assume
Do not try to measure how you are doing, tackle each task as a new challenge and do not get disheartened. Remember this day has been specifically designed to stretch you, if you feel you could have done something better apply that energy to the next task!
